- The Art Cafe Book Group next meeting is to be held on Wednesday 8th February 2012 at 6pm. New members most welcome. This month's selection is 'The Leopard' by Guiseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa
Friday 2nd December saw the launch of Daphne Wright and Helen Welton's new book 'Fun with Animal Yoga for Children'. Copies are now available here at The Art Cafe or via Daphne and Helen direct, price £7.
Friday 9th September saw a most successful book launch for two local Authors. Mike Silkstone's second novel 'Three Loves', a prequel to 'Seasons o'Steeas' and part of what will eventually form a trilogy set in the local area (particularly Staithes and Whitby). Daphne Wright presented the final book of her 'Journey' fantasy trilogy, 'Journey across the Water'.
